Hi, I'm a Ukrainian Software Engineer passionate about building software solutions that bring real value to businesses.
With nearly three years of commercial development experience, I've contributed to 5+ production-grade applications, supporting their launch and ongoing maintenance.
I specialize in full-stack web development with a strong focus on Python and Django, and as a T-shaped professional, I enjoy diving deep into backend work while also exploring different tools and technologies to keep growing. Regardless of the technology, my priority is writing clean, maintainable code that stands the test of time.
What I've Been Up To
A few highlights from my recent projects and achievements:
- Contributed to building and maintaining several Django apps, working on both backend and frontend (mostly with Django templates);
- Collaborated with a team to build a system from the ground up for managing access to internal resources at one of Germany's largest research organization;
- Containerized and maintained an old LDAP-to-REST API connector;
- Set up a multi-node Kubernetes cluster (RKE2) and moved existing Ansible deployment process over to it;
- Optimized the execution of ~10,000 python unit tests in the CI pipeline, reducing runtime by 2.5x without adding extra resources to the workers;
- Fixed a small bug in django-rest-framework;
